On November 11, 2007, a group of local riding professionals got together for dinner at the Chesapeake Dressage Institute to discuss organizing clinics, seminars, etc. tailor-made for training the trainers. There is a lot of interest in forming a group to share contacts and suggestions, so a dinner was organized. We ended up with a lively discussion, and many great ideas.

We've had several ideas mentioned for seminars, both mounted and unmounted, that should appeal to trainers, among them:

•   Discussing training theory debates
  
•   Holding continuing education classes
  
•   Hosting clinics with the best credentialed instructors to offer training   for the riding professionals (without an audience, if desired)

•   Instructors and Trainers Club (or Organization, Group, etc.)
  
•   "Training the Trainers" Club"
  
•   "Riding Professionals" Club
